It is new trackball which is given on the right palm rest on this Eee PC 901 which is similar to trackball of the Apple mighty mouse. It enables you to use your windows or navigate to internet more easily and saves your time.

But it can make move for horizontal only not because of its weakness but because of Windows XP drivers which don’t support horizontal movement. It is possible to enable horizontal movement by the help of third party drivers but unfortunately these drivers are not free.
